Here's a sneak peek at what's going on inside the mind of a curriculum junkie. Read and think and pray and comment and leave your mark on what's in the works.
Guest Post on Swerve
Hey go over and comment on my pastor's blog today. I got to write a guest post so I wrote about something I've been wrestling through on my other blog for the past year.
Hey Kendra! speaking of guest posts... I work with the reThink group and the Orange Leaders blog. We're looking for some amazing bloggers to write their thoughts on Milestones and how we transition children/teens/and their parents through different ages and stages. I know you're very busy, but the length is about 250 words with pictures or videos optional. Does writing about this topic excite you or have you written something similar in the past? Looking forward to hearing back from you. This is Reggie's focus on the Webcast this week that's highlighted on the makingoforange site. Last week we talked mostly about key teenage and middle school students-- this week it will be children and preschoolers. Thanks for considering adding your thoughts to the conversations-- Cara
Sure Cara. Let me know how to get it to you and by when. :) I wrote something for Bre a couple of times for it. Being asked for my opinion is my love language. :) You said pictures or videos optional. Would a video post fit your format? My best input might have been transitioning kids from kids to youth, but I'll think about something we can offer about preschool and elementary. :)
If you have something really negative to say, feel free to email me personally so we can talk about it offline. All constructive comments are welcome, even if they challenge the status quo. Bring it on.
This is an open invitation to cull through my brain dumps so you can be a part of the development of whatever ideas, teaching content, methodology, long-range planning, the business of making disciples, and other stuff I'm currently thinking about. This is my stream of consciousness, not an official stream of information from my team. Writing is my effort to process through it and think out loud. So don't take any of it as a certainty of future curriculum development, take it for what it's worth. Which is about two cents.

Sometimes I write about what I'm studying in the Bible over at metacognician.com
